Just got back from a long day at NYCC, Dead tired, dead broke, but it was all worth it. As you can tell from the pic above, it’s amazing how many people they can pack into Javits. Was a bit cramped walking through the show, and there were queues for everything, but it was still great fun.
Bumped into Dr. Octopus on my way into the show.
…Mr T?
Started by walking around artist alley. Overall it was good but I would have liked to see more anime art (just my preference).
Cool car
Spy around here….
Interesting way to charge your phone
Lovely!
Always money in the banana stand
Checking out the dudebox booth
Spent a long time at the Goodsmile booth taking photos… I’ll probably dump them all in a separate post. They really put on a good display, it was awesome to see every single nendo ever made.
Would you wear battery powered cat ears?
I noticed that the selection of anime figures was a lot better this year! There were a bunch of booths selling various PVC and articulated figures. Sadly, there still remains a booth selling fake nendoroids (not the one pictured above, a different booth). Luckily it was only one booth that I spotted selling fakes, last year there were actually a few.
The mystery machine took a stop at comic con this year
When this baby hits 88 miles an hour…
Sweet artwork
Some retro gaming going on.
Awesome Mortal Kombat cosplay!
The divine stormtrooper
Some magical things happening down by the panel area.
Got to attend Danny Choo’s panel which was great. He’s a really funny guy!
Was great to see Danny here at Comic Con. Hope he comes again next year!
Walking around where the panels were being held. The queues for some of the panels were enormous!
Some form of Quidditch?
Some cool lego scenes on display
Dancing maids
Cool hallway advertising TMNT if I remember correctly
Some cool toy soldier cosplay. More cool cosplay below:
Epic bumblebee cosplay
Checking out the Kotobukiya booth.
A rather large lego hulk. I wonder how long it takes them to put it together…
The lego booth had these walls that you could stick legos on.
Huge statue from God of War
Stayed right up until the floor closed, of course there are still tons of people swarming around the foyer.
Going to end it here. If you want to see some more photos do take a look at my flickr.
Thanks for looking!
