Castle Point Anime Convention 2016
This past weekend I finally got a chance to make it over to the Castle Point Anime Con, a student-run convention taking place in Hoboken NJ. This is my first time checking out CPAC as I’ve never been able to make it in past years since it’s only a one-day event (Sunday). Luckily I had some time this weekend to check it out, and got the chance to take few pictures!

Building NYC
Once and a while, whenever I build a diorama for my figure photos, I like to post some behind-the-scenes photos as people seem to enjoy looking at them. Usually I’ll just post a pic or two, but for more involved builds I try to document my process a bit more so I can share it around. Photographing in-progress work not only helps me, as it gives me a reference incase I forget how I did something, but it also hopefully helps others and maybe provides a bit of inspiration for you all to try it yourself!
Today we’re going to look at a diorama project that I’ve been slaving away at for the past few weeks.
Waku Waku +NYC 2015
One of the events that I’ve been looking forward to for a while now is Waku Waku +NYC, an anime / Japanese pop culture event located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. NYC has been long overdue for a dedicated anime event ever since NYCC ate up the New York Anime Festival, and it looks like Waku Waku is the answer to the lack of anime events.
