Like clockwork every first week in October, the massive gathering of all sorts of different fandoms and pop culture enthusiasts, known as NYCC, starts up at the Javits center. This weekend over 100,000 fans braved the rain to geek out and spend their money on all sorts of nerdy paraphernalia.

Building NYC
Once and a while, whenever I build a diorama for my figure photos, I like to post some behind-the-scenes photos as people seem to enjoy looking at them. Usually I’ll just post a pic or two, but for more involved builds I try to document my process a bit more so I can share it around. Photographing in-progress work not only helps me, as it gives me a reference incase I forget how I did something, but it also hopefully helps others and maybe provides a bit of inspiration for you all to try it yourself!
Today we’re going to look at a diorama project that I’ve been slaving away at for the past few weeks.
Waku Waku +NYC 2015
One of the events that I’ve been looking forward to for a while now is Waku Waku +NYC, an anime / Japanese pop culture event located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. NYC has been long overdue for a dedicated anime event ever since NYCC ate up the New York Anime Festival, and it looks like Waku Waku is the answer to the lack of anime events.
Springtime 2015
One tradition that I love to do every year is to do a spring-themed post. Spring is always such a lovely time of year, and seeing everything in bloom is quite a beautiful sight! With warmer weather and beautiful nature to look at, I always enjoying taking photos during springtime with all the vibrant colors to capture.
