Building NYC

NYC Diorama BuildOnce and a while, whenever I build a diorama for my figure photos, I like to post some behind-the-scenes photos as people seem to enjoy looking at them. Usually I’ll just post a pic or two, but for more involved builds I try to document my process a bit more so I can share it around. Photographing in-progress work not only helps me, as it gives me a reference incase I forget how I did something, but it also hopefully helps others and maybe provides a bit of inspiration for you all to try it yourself!

Today we’re going to look at a diorama project that I’ve been slaving away at for the past few weeks.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas 2015

Hard to believe it, but it’s already Christmas! It definitely doesn’t feel like it since it was over 70ºF yesterday, but nevertheless the holiday spirit is alive and well. I always love getting into the holiday spirit, and each year I love creating some Christmas-themed figure photos.

Satsuki Santa

Obviously this year I had to do another Kill la Kill Christmas (Since my obsession with the KLK nendoroids never seems to subside), complete with a Santa Satsuki!

Mako & Ryuko Christmas

Holiday Mako & Guts

To all my followers, I wish you all a Merry Christmas! Hope you have a Peaceful & Joyous holiday season, and thanks again for following my silly nendoroid adventures 😃

Cheers!

Happy Halloween!

Happy HalloweenIt’s that scary time of year, time for Halloween! Obviously I love doing Halloween-themed photos to celebrate the occasion, and what better way to celebrate than with the Kill la Kill nendoroids 😀

NYCC 2015

NYCC 2015It’s hard to believe how fast time flies- but it’s already that time of year, time for the one and only New York Comic Con! This is my sixth year attending NYCC (I’m starting to feel old!) and it still amazes me how much this convention has grown over the years. I remember when you could just walk up to the convention and buy tickets, which is such a huge difference compared to today when the whole convention sells out in a matter of hours. Unfortunately, as the convention continues to grow, the anime content always seems to get less and less each year. For someone who really only cares about Anime & other similar media, NYCC does seem to be getting less and less relevant. But even so, it’s simply a convention that I can’t find myself missing, and I always seem to have a good time regardless.
