Otakon 2016As the summer starts to wind down, the beginning of August brings not only hot & humid weather, but also the largest anime convention on the East Coast. As almost 30,000 congoers tried to cool down with some ice cold water (for only $1), Otakon 2016 started up without a hitch this past weekend!

Castle Point Anime Convention 2016

This is my first time checking out CPAC as I’ve never been able to make it in past years since it’s only a one-day event (Sunday). Waku Waku +NYC 2015

Waku Waku NYC LoveLive CosplayOne of the events that I’ve been looking forward to for a while now is Waku Waku +NYC, an anime / Japanese pop culture event located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. NYC has been long overdue for a dedicated anime event ever since NYCC ate up the New York Anime Festival, and it looks like Waku Waku is the answer to the lack of anime events.
